| Expertise and Dedication Lead to All-Star Status for Boylan, Krueger |
|
(APPLETON - WI) Jamie Boylan, Class A Machinist at CMD Corporation, was recently named a 2010 All Star for the N.E.W. Manufacturing Alliance. John Krueger, Class A Mechanical Assembler, was named to the All Stars Team in 2009. What makes an All Star? According to Bobbi Miller, Business Services Manager for Fox Valley Workforce Development Board, Inc., All Stars are typically nominated by their employers because they are “leaders in their organizations, have participated in eliminating waste and continue to learn new techniques to add value for customers.” The All Stars program was developed by the N.E.W. Manufacturing Alliance, in partnership with Insight on Manufacturing Magazine, and filmmaker Alex Zacarias of Educational Television Productions of Northeastern Wisconsin, which produced the videos that accompany the All Stars project. N.E.W. Manufacturing Alliance selects a limited number of All Stars for the team each year, and uses their experiences to help promote manufacturing in NE Wisconsin. The All Stars program is designed to educate students and their parents about the potential for rewarding careers in manufacturing and to dispel misconceptions about manufacturing careers. "Jamie and John exemplify the dedication to excellence among personnel throughout CMD," said Ron Buchinger, CMD Director of Operations. "Experience and training have helped Jamie and John sharpen their expertise - they are well-deserving of this honor and an integral part of the CMD manufacturing team." ![]() ![]()
