Small-Count Rolls
Small-count rolls are a popular option to attract new market segments. The Global High-Speed Winder offers small-count winding at up to 30 cycles per minute for unbanded product. The unique, dual-spindle design and rotor-less overlap enhance process efficiency.
Banded Rolls
Roll banding or labeling is becoming an increasingly viable choice for U.S. consumers, and has been an accepted form of packaging and merchandising in Europe and other parts of the world for some time. Along with providing environmental sustainability, the label or band is an economic alternative that allows for full-impact printing and branding.
Tail-Glued Rolls
Securing the final bag, or tail, on a roll improves process efficiency and roll presentation, whether the roll is packaged in a sleeve, bag, carton or case. Bag Dispensing Choices
The Global High-Speed Winder can wind bags on a continuous-perfed roll, for tear-off bag dispensing. Converters world-wide are discovering the consumer attraction of easy, one-at-a-time bag dispensing, achieved by breaking the perforation between the bags and winding them on a roll in "overlapped" configuration. The overlapped bag-on-a-roll configuration has been an accepted form of bag dispensing in U.S. markets for some time, but offers a unique advantage for advancing global markets. CMD has pioneered overlapped bag winding technology, and offers a high-speed, proven process.
The CMD Global High-Speed Winder offers high production speeds of up to 600 fpm (183 mpm) and up to 30 cycles per minute.
