(APPLETON, WI. USA - NOV. 2005) - CMD is pleased to introduce new bottom seal bag making technology for the global marketplace. The Model 1400DBS Clamp Stack Bottom Seal System incorporates advanced servo technology and Allen-BradleyTM controls and features a durable, robust design for years of reliable operation. The CMD bottom seal system handles a broad range of films up to 203 micron (8 mil) non-gusseted tubing and produces bags from 200 mm to 2500 mm (8 to 99 inches.)

The system offers efficient production speeds up to 120 cpm (300 fpm) and seals web widths to 1360 mm (54 in.)

Designed to fit in a standard ocean freight container for economical shipping, the Model 1400 DBS features metric design and is CE and ISO certified. It features Allen-BradleyTM controls and nichrome wire sealing. The Model 1400DBS is ideal for a variety of bag applications like:

The 1400 DBS features servo sealing and single programming, for reliable production and simplified operation. The clamp stack feature precisely aligns bags and holds stack integrity for easy packaging downstream.

The streamlined Model1400DBS offers multi-lane converting for high production output and thoughtful maintenance design features, like the highest-quality pneumatics and electronically-controlled speed references throughout the machine. Main belt drives are located on the outside of the machine for easy access and substantial savings in downtime for belt changes.
