CMD OPENS NEW TECHNOLOGY CENTER - TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES GROW WITH EXPANSION
CMD offers a 43,000 sq. ft. Technology Center at 3005 E. Pershing Street, directly east of the Appleton CMD headquarters. The unique center offers confidential conferencing and manufacturing bays, specialized testing facilities and equipment and dedicated technology teams assigned to specific projects and customers.


CMD has devoted an entire division solely to the development
of customized and proprietary technology, processes and equipment.


"Converters and packagers have increasingly looked to CMD to develop advanced equipment technology and we have concentrated our efforts to hone that skill set,” said Steve Sakai, CMD President. “Technically advanced equipment delivers sustainable value to our customers - in process improvement, enhanced efficiency, labor savings and reduced workplace injury.”

CMD has a proven track record of delivering rapid product development to converters and manufacturers, designing and building equipment that has produced successful new package styles on store shelves today.

“We are in a unique position because we can offer our customers extensive product development, prototyping, testing and process validation in a secure, confidential facility,” said Larry Mikulsky, Vice President of Engineering, Product Development and Technical Services. Along with additional square footage for proprietary manufacturing cells, the facility includes a demo room, controls lab and dedicated conference rooms for each engineering group. The CMD demo room can be utilized for training, machine
validation, testing, as well as for demos of lab or pilot lines
