CMD Model 600DC Draw Cut Machine

The CMD Model 600DC Draw Cut Machine is designed for the efficient production of paper/polymer and adhesive tape strips - typically used as straps for bibs and gowns in the medical industry. The straps are typically comprised of paper substrates and eleatic polymers. Parent rolls of paper/polymer and tape are simultaneously unwound, married and adhesively attached. The combined web is cut into individual narrow strips with a peel off adhesive strip on each end, stacked and conveyed to an operator station for offloading.

Easy to operate, the system includes:

  • A touch screen display of operating parameters
  • Self diagnostic system check with readout of fault messages
  • Ethernet equipped for better line diagnostics
  • Two zones of web tension control for consistent product quality
  • All motors (Rockwell/Allen Bradley or Rexroth) driven by same platform for consistent control with less software
  • All processes controlled by single PLC (Rockwell/Allen Bradley or Rexroth) platform
  • Menu savable setting for select touch screen values
  • Parent rolls can unwind in either forward or reverse direction
